Alt Girl Shelter: The Old Guy Has a System

At 22, Wang Hao is a down-on-his-luck auto mechanic. After getting fired, he unexpectedly binds himself to a System at an internet café, and his life is completely changed by a group of streetwise girls. At first, he takes in Xiao Ai, a blue-haired girl, to complete a System mission. Then he steps in to help Qianqian and takes the hit when Linlin is pressured to drink. In the chaotic world of nightclubs, modified cars, and livestreaming, he uses his wrench to protect their rebellious spirits and fragile hearts.

With the System’s rewards and his own hard work, Wang Hao goes from a penniless nobody to an entrepreneur with a chain of custom auto shops and an e-commerce brand. He watches the girls transform: Qianqian goes from a nightlife-obsessed party girl to a marketing director; Xiao Ai escapes the shadow of her family and finds her purpose in life; and Linlin grows from a naive girl into an independent designer. Meanwhile, caught up in money and desire, and weathered by the pain of betrayal and redemption, he changes from a reckless hothead into a true protector.

Interspersed with System messages and reader interactions, the story captures both the raw vitality of street life and the tenderness and growth hidden beneath rebellion. When the girls reunite with their families, Wang Hao finally understands: those years of wrenches and red lips gave every rebellious heart a way to find peace, and every act of kindness an echo.
