Slam Dunk: Kakuta's Rise

Inoue Takehiko once said, “Youth always comes with regrets.” But we're going to give youth a fresh start.

Li Ming transmigrates into Satoru Kakuta and unlocks the Benchwarmer System. As long as he sits on the bench during a game, his stats increase.

To make an impact at the National Tournament, he needs to be much stronger than he is now, so all he can do is stay on the bench and lie low.

After all his diligent bench-sitting, he leads the team to dominate Kanagawa Prefecture as its number one seed. The System then evolves into the Spotlight System, which increases his stats whenever he takes the court. In the end, he leads Shohoku to national glory and earns a spot in Japan's national youth training camp!
