Reborn in Another Body, I Strive to Found a Nation on the Island

He was Lin Mo, an ordinary history enthusiast from the 21st century. After an accident, he found himself transported in spirit to 1905 in a parallel world!

The course of history in this world was astonishingly similar to the one he knew. At the time, China was beset by troubles at home and abroad, teetering on the brink of disaster. The Qing court was rotten to the core, the great powers circled like vultures, and the recently concluded Russo-Japanese War had laid bare the devastation in the Northeast. The people were destitute, and the countryside was strewn with the dead.

His new identity belonged to a young man also named Lin Mo. His parents had died early, leaving him to struggle for survival in this chaotic age. Not long before, a bout of chills and hunger had finally taken his life, allowing Lin Mo to take over his body.
