One hexagram reveals a secret, and one word predicts the collapse of an emperor!
Liu Xuanji, a graduate student in Chinese studies, accidentally traveled to the Ming Dynasty and became a poor fortune teller in the capital.
Betting on his life at the beginning, Xiang Xin Wang Zhu Youjian predicted that Emperor Tianqi would die suddenly and a new king would ascend the throne.
He also revealed the secrets of the deep palace, which aroused King Xin's suspicion and "invited" him into the palace under house arrest.
Trapped in jail, Liu Xuanji waited for the storm.
When Tianqi died and Chongzhen succeeded to the throne, the prophecy came true.
The commoner's fortune-teller suddenly became a guest of the new emperor's confidants.
Faced with the powerful eunuch party, the endless party disputes in the government, the eyeing Hou Jin, and the war-torn civil uprising, he relied on his insights and wisdom beyond the times to help Chongzhen succeed step by step.
From the palace staff to the emperor's army, he outsmarted the Wei eunuchs, balanced party disputes, reformed accumulated shortcomings, and reorganized the army.
He cares for the victims internally, defends the strongholds externally, and turns the tide when the building is about to collapse!
Let's see how a commoner controls the secrets of heaven, single-handedly reverses the destiny of the country, recreates a glorious and prosperous age in the storm of the late Ming Dynasty, and writes a legend from a charlatan to an imperial master who rebuilds mountains and rivers!
Reader comments
This novel is different from other novels of the late Ming Dynasty that I have read. The author uses small characters to start the story, the story progresses layer by layer, and the language is humorous. It can be seen that the author has good writing skills. I hope to continue to work hard and work hard to write the following stories.
It's very refreshing to watch. Some things in the last years of the Ming Dynasty were really difficult to deal with. If you can really turn things around, you can only read this novel.
The plot is reasonable and yet humorous. It cuts into the dull late Ming Dynasty with a small entrance. The plot progresses layer by layer and is shocking step by step. It is very interesting and good-looking. Good luck to the author.
