A Love as Beautiful as a City, a Peaceful Life

Their first meeting at Jiangcheng University made Ye Qingcheng, a frosty 30-year-old professor, the abiding obsession of Wei Anyi, the 18-year-old campus heartthrob.

He is the son of China's richest man, cold as ice to his admirers, yet he gives her all his tenderness, offering his sincere heart in a clumsy but passionate way. She is a strict and responsible homeroom teacher, accustomed to keeping her distance, but in his day-after-day persistence, she sees a conviction beyond his years.

From teacher and student to lovers, they bridge a twelve-year age gap and withstand society's scrutiny. The wholehearted support of the Wei family gives their relationship even firmer footing. When the once-naive boy grows into a man who can stand by her side, the ice finally melts.

Their love, which began on campus, reaches a happy ending in the full glare of public attention. He is her student, and also her husband; she is his teacher, and the moonlight of his life. With a son and a daughter at their sides, they enjoy a tender life together, proof that a love pursued by both sides never needs to bow to convention.
