My Master’s Daughter Has Improper Designs on Me

Deng Junyin was the disciple of Su Qingwan, the former Holy Maiden of Baihua Tower, and also her secret guardian.

Reserved and long-suffering, he was haunted by deep guilt over his late master and a yearning he could never bring himself to confess.

After an assassination attempt, he followed the keepsakes his master had left behind and found her daughter, Yaoxi, who had been living far from home.

Sixteen-year-old Yaoxi was sensitive, sharp-tongued, and bristling with thorns.

She hated her mother for abandoning her, and hated even more how this sudden “senior brother” had barged into her life in the name of protecting her.

She provoked and tormented him, burned her mother's keepsakes, and paraded around in Su Qingwan's old clothes in front of him, like a knife digging viciously into his most painful old wound.

“What gives you the right to interfere? Who are you to me?”

“I promised your mother I'd keep you safe.”

“Hmph. Then you'd better not regret it.”
