The Rules Loop: Ten Days in a Cage

[Mystery]+ [Thriller]+ [Detective]+ [Science Fiction]+ [Infinite Flow]+ [Powerful Duo] “A subterranean prison resets every ten days. The rules are death sentences, and memories are knives that kill. When Lin Jin wakes in a rusty metal pod, nine strangers with hidden agendas are lying beside him. Before dying, the old man with the red cord says, ‘Trust no one.’ The gentle doctor hides a scalpel that can transfer wounds. The silent man can turn a pen into a dagger. Even the bracelet on Lin Jin's own wrist bears the secret mark of an ‘Enforcer.’ The rules on the electronic screen refresh every night: ‘The holder of the red cord must kill someone.’ ‘Liars will be replaced by their reflections.’ ‘Memories will be altered with each loop.’ Death is not the end, but the start of another round of deception. Some survive by glimpsing fragments of the rules, while others set traps by grafting memories together. Then Lin Jin realizes that he makes the same choice every round: he presses the reset button and makes everyone die all over again. When the bell tolls for the tenth round, beyond the breach gate, on the other side of a glass wall, ‘Jiang Xue’ in a white coat watches them with a smile. The so-called ‘Great Annihilation’ never existed. They are merely sacrifices in a laboratory's effort to select ‘vessels of civilization,’ and every source core steeped in blood and tears is a fragment of humanity's self-destructive genes. ‘Either become a god who bears every wound, or let this damned cycle trap everyone forever.’ Lin Jin tightens his grip on the source core and finally understands: the ultimate trap of the rules was never about obeying or resisting them. After countless betrayals and sacrifices, you still have to believe that... Someone is worth staking your final loop on.”
