The Idle Granduncle of the Immortal Sect

After completing seven missions, Su Zedao can finally relax and lie flat.

After spending her whole life doing missions, can't she lie flat and enjoy herself for once?

She asked for just three things: plenty of money, beautiful scenery, and high status.

The System solemnly promised to provide all three. But when she opened her eyes, she was standing in front of a mountain gate she knew all too well.

The immortal mountain was still there, with its seven peaks rising in a row, disciples everywhere, and a towering sect that had grown countless times larger than when she first founded it.

Su Zedao and the System stared at each other in her mind:

“Huh?”

“Uh!”

She was speechless.

She'd finally retired, so why had it sent her back to the world of her very first mission?

And somehow, she'd become the disciple of her former youngest apprentice, the junior grandmaster of the Wendao Sect.

Her seniority was so high it was almost frightening. Even the current sect leader had to greet her respectfully and say, “Greetings, Ancestress.”

“Dear, we're sorry. Would compensation of zero yuan be acceptable?”

With that, the System vanished. No matter how she called for it, it never replied. It left without a sound, just as it had arrived.

Su Zedao sighed. Well, the Wendao Sect would do. It more or less met her requirements.

She wanted to lie flat in comfort and be the laziest fish in the pond.

She never expected that storms were brewing and the clouds were gathering.
