Stream of consciousness + slow pace
[The price of eternal youth is never being able to fall in love!]
At twenty, terminally ill with brain cancer, Gu Xingwan binds to a strange System:
As long as she keeps falling in love and makes sure each relationship fails, she can freeze time and remain young forever.
But the instant she falls for someone, she ages in a flash and her life runs out.
For fourteen years, she has shut her heart away and become a seasoned player in love, a youthful-looking executive,
yet she still can't forget the man who ruined her on a rainy night when she was eighteen.
Until two "true loves" arrive at once, both bringing deadly trials:
Her childhood friend, CEO Cen Mo, returns in a blaze of confidence: "Xingxing, I'll warm your heart, even if it costs me my life!"
The obsessive genius student Xie Yizhou closes in, step by step: "Tell me, who made you this way?"
Even more terrifying, the demon who dragged her into hell all those years ago has returned.
And she discovers that all of this is closely connected to the people around her...
The System sounds the alarm: [True love has arrived! Life countdown: 24 hours!]
Close her heart and avoid love? No. She'd rather tempt them into breaking their vows!
Using her childhood friend's influence, the newcomer’s blade, and her own vengeance,
she'll drag everyone into the abyss, even if she has to burn herself to do it.
I was the first to read this book. When I got to more than 50 chapters, I suddenly changed the text! But the good thing is that I know some of the subsequent plot, and after the changes, the pace of the plot has obviously become faster, and the heroine's character is also more likable. I look forward to the author's follow-up updates!
It's a bit cruel, I hope the author can give some sweets later
