He Xia Comes Down the Mountain: The Hilarious All-Rounder of the City

A hilarious young man named He Yi comes down from Qingyun Mountain with a worn-out bag and the “death notice” of his master, who supposedly “ascended to immortality.” In reality, his mischievous old master, Xuan Chenzi, faked his death to force him out into the world. He Yi battles monsters and grows stronger along the way, gradually transforming from a “half-baked successor” into the strongest being on Earth. But at the peak of his power, he discovers that his supposedly departed master is actually hiding somewhere, munching on sunflower seeds and watching the show.

It turns out He Yi was never the strongest. That title has always belonged to his master, who is in a league of his own. And the outcome of this adventure, which began with a trick, had been calculated by the old fox from the very start.
