A series of murders occurred in Minghai City. The deceased were all relevant personnel (witnesses, police officers, and family members) of the "Xinghai Building Falling Case" three years ago. The method of committing the crime was exactly the same as that of the "real murderer", but the "real murderer" had long been brought to justice - and that case was the reason why Lin Yan was fired (he insisted that the real murderer was someone else, but was characterized as "fabricated evidence").
