Big Sister, Punish Me Until I Come

A Mad CEO × A Criminal Investigation Profiler #Mad Male Lead #Older Woman-Younger Man Romance #Mutual Healing #The Untouchable Falls from Grace On the night ten years ago when the college entrance exams ended, Jiang Jianwei slipped a CA1834 boarding pass into Shen Yan's palm. “Wait two years for me. When I come back, we'll dance at graduation.” The next day, the airport announcement called her name over and over. The boy, eyes red, rushed through security, only to be pinned against the glass doors by bodyguards hired by his mother. The boarding pass tore into seven pieces. He fell to his knees, crying, “Sister, don't go,” his throat raw and bleeding. Ten years later, Jiang Jianwei returned home as a criminal investigation profiler. Her first case was a kidnapping involving a wealthy family. In the interrogation room, the man, dressed in a fine suit with damp eyes, clicked the seven fragments together to form a complete boarding pass and pushed it toward her. “Sister, I've done something wrong.” The next second, he deftly unfastened his cuff and revealed a heart-rate lock on his wrist. “The restraints have been sterilized. Please punish me.” Only then did she learn that he'd turned the boarding pass she left behind into a “pain prop” for a secret room numbered 13A-26F. He'd set the airport announcement recording as his alarm and hadn't slept through a whole night in ten years. Every time he deliberately did something wrong, it was only so he could hear her call him “little brother” once more, and make sure she hadn't abandoned him again. And so the 72-hour countdown to solve the case began. With every stroke she drew in the suspect's profile, he carved another long-overdue “I love you” into the restraints. When the final profile was complete, the runway lights illuminated the flight path of CA1834. The man fell to his knees in tears. “Jiang Jianwei, this time I'll wait for you. If the boarding pass is here, I'll be here. If it breaks, I'll stay on my knees until I've put it back together.”
