Mo Niansheng

Think not of the past, for the past burns the heart. Think not of the years ahead, for every day to come is torment. Think not of what came before, for it is all lies. Think not of escape, for escape is an illusion.

Think not of old friends, for old friends have turned to ash. Think not of vows, for vows become blades. Think not of the road home, for there is no way back. Think not of lasting resentment, for it cuts to the bone.

Think not of broken steles, for broken steles devour the soul. Think not of the next life, for the next life is emptiness.
