Harry Potter: Blazing Wings Above the Ashes

In the ashes of Hogwarts, she opened her eyes. Her wings had become human skin, and flames had condensed into a light in her eyes.

As the oldest secret at Dumbledore's side, Foxy never imagined she would experience the darkness and light sweeping across the Wizarding World in the form of a human.

She remembered the wind in Godric's Hollow, the basilisk's roar in the Chamber of Secrets, and the silver lamp that always burned in the Headmaster's Office. Most of all, she remembered how, when that green curse fell, she had carried a sword of rebirth through the ashes for a boy.

In the world of HP, a phoenix is more than a symbol. This time, in flesh and blood, she will continue the poem of fire and redemption.
