The Bells of Rizanji Temple

"Pear Blossoms in the Rain" is set in Lihua Village in eastern Zhejiang and is divided into three parts, detailing the life trajectories of four generations. The work praises true love, remembers the deceased ancestors, shows the social scene of different eras, and praises truth, goodness and beauty. It not only tells the story of villagers working together to overcome difficulties, but also more affectionately eulogizes the heroes of the Anti-Japanese War, and praises the sense of responsibility to family and loyalty to love. The characters in the book face life actively and show their firm belief in the future. At the same time, they discuss issues such as the electronicization of archives and the protection of ancient buildings, which are thought-provoking.
