In x025, early July, a news story spread rapidly online.
A research team made up of scientists published a paper with a startling claim: a hostile alien spacecraft was hurtling toward the sun at over 210,000 kilometers per hour and might attack Earth in November.
x025, late September.
Humanity announced it was powerless to resist the alien civilization, and the world endured the darkest week in its history.
However, Earth’s existing order remained intact, and agitators failed to stir up much trouble.
Once every country declared a state of emergency, the military stepped in. The so-called “Dark Week” ended completely in just one day.
In early December of x025,
videos began circulating on every information platform, showing world leaders establishing diplomatic relations with the alien civilization. The aliens in the videos wore helmets like the ones in Star Wars, making their true faces impossible to see.
Most people, however, weren’t concerned with what the aliens looked like. They were focused on the information revealed in the videos:
“Human Race Assessment and Appraisal”
What was being assessed? What was being appraised?
My name is Ren Liang. I’m 24, and I’ve watched tens of thousands of films and TV shows, read countless comics and books, and written more than a dozen novels that failed to sell. A month ago, I was still a young man scraping by on a monthly attendance bonus of 2,000, with nothing to do but eat and wait to die. No social life, no one to care about, no future. If it weren’t for the cancer I have, I’d be laughing at the so-called alien invasion. I wish this world would hurry up and end!
The whole book is too immature. There are some bright spots, but they need to be explored. There are too many problems to be explained in one sentence. One star is my exclusive score for "White Snake", otherwise I will give you one first. The issues I think have been commented on for you. The author can refer to them and make slight changes to make the novel more readable.
A masterpiece of painstaking efforts
