A virtual reality escape game called “Gate of Destiny” suddenly appears, drawing players into mysterious game instances filled with danger and puzzles. The instances combine elements of horror, science fiction, and fantasy, each with its own backstory, rules, and powerful boss. Only by clearing an instance can players return to the real world and claim generous rewards, including wealth, rare items, and even a chance to change their fate. But if a player dies in an instance, they die for real in the real world, too.
