In the midsummer of 2028, Lin Mo, a high school student in Shanghai, was addicted to VR games. He was full of resistance to the Beijing climate summer camp organized by his father (a national climate expert) and even turned off the warning of the 2028 weather monitor. Unexpectedly, the Arctic vortex triggered a super cold wave that hit Shanghai and Beijing. The cities of the two places were frozen and smart devices malfunctioned.
