The Stars Beside the Moon

This is a short coming-of-age story about a secret crush, told from a third-person perspective. It follows a sensitive, insecure girl who falls for a boy like the moon: cool and bright. What a stroke of luck to win the prize, though sadly, it has expired. In the end, they become nothing more than passing figures in each other's lives. He is the moon in the night sky, and she is one of countless stars accompanying him. A teenage crush is like a green apple: tart, but sweet too.
