Infinite Flow: Who’s Alive? Who’s a Ghost?

[Infinite flow + no main character] The Gray Realm is boundless, its cycles never-ending. Those who enter the Gray Realm after death can only step into the Ruins to survive. Every path to life lies hidden beneath bones and lies. There is no main character here. Anyone could die without warning in the very next moment. Vengeful ghosts are bloodthirsty, their killing rules everywhere, and they can even imitate humans. They have that person's face, voice, memories, and even habits. They will walk with you, talk with you until they lure you into breaking a rule and reveal their true form. But the living are even more terrifying than ghosts. A single haunted artifact is enough to turn companions against each other; information about a way out can be bought with a teammate's life. Those who make it back alive can enjoy three days in the safe zone: they can eat their fill, sleep, and pretend they're still alive. Then they open the next door.
