BL + Sweet Romance + Love Grows Over Time + Happy Ending + Devoted Top and Bottom + Esports
Your Captain, Can I Borrow Your Blue Buff for a Bite? also known as Clash at Your Fingertips, is a competitive BL story set in the professional esports league. It follows Lin Yanzhi, the star top laner of Team ST, and Jiang Xu, a mid laner returning from overseas.
The two once had an unpleasant encounter at a training camp, but years later, they unexpectedly become teammates. Lin Yanzhi is proud and competitive, anchoring his team with his steady play. Jiang Xu is cool and distant, yet his incisive mechanics and big-picture awareness shake up the competition. Their initial clashes and disagreements over strategy during practice gradually give way to something more as they fight side by side: from coordinated counterattacks when the enemy jungler targets one of them, to desperate support across half the map in crucial matches, their teamwork evolves from “unorthodox” to the “shared brain” plays hailed by commentators.
On the stage, they face off in a contest of supreme skill and strategy. In the practice room, they talk quietly while reviewing games late into the night, with the occasional unintentional touch. In the corridor backstage, they brush fingertips as they exchange commemorative coins after a win. As their desire to win becomes entangled with an inexplicable attraction, these two equally proud players must do more than break through their opponents’ defenses on the road to a championship. They must also face the feelings quietly growing between them, feelings that go beyond those of teammates.
It's very beautiful. Keep up the good work, author.
