Feng Shui master Lin Mo was ambushed by a close friend and reborn in the body of a con artist in the city who shared his name. In his previous life, he mastered the art of locating dragon veins and reading the lay of the land, and could discern life-and-death mysteries of yin and yang, but he was undone by the treachery of human nature. In this life, despite being branded a "charlatan," he uses his ancestral compass to unravel strange urban cases.
He helps a female celebrity dispel a romantic curse, only to discover a Ming Dynasty tomb of ill omen beneath her villa. He reads the Feng Shui of a mogul's office, and the compass needle spins wildly, pointing straight to a curse-nurturing jade hidden in the safe. Even an argument among the aunties dancing in the neighborhood square conceals the mystery of an evil aura clinging to someone.
As he stirs up the city under the guise of a "charlatan," enemies from his past life, hidden superpowered individuals, and a mysterious organization coveting his compass all begin to emerge. Lin Mo chuckles as he makes a hand gesture: "You think I'm just putting on a show? I'm actually carrying out Heaven's will."
The compass turns, and ghosts and gods are shaken. See how this reborn charlatan uses arcane arts to tear away the veil between yin and yang in the concrete jungle.
