Lin Chenxi, a former boy-band trainee, was relegated to the bottom of his company after an injury. His only hobby was hiding at home to read boys' love novels, and he also had a serious picky-eating problem.
One day, desperate for something to read, he clicked on The Secret Romance Between a Top-Tier Boy Band Star and His Childhood Friend, only for the author to leave the story hanging with the leads at odds because of a misunderstanding. Furious, he nearly jumped out of his skin. To make matters worse, the book had a cannon-fodder character with the exact same name as him. While concealing his identity at his own company, the character accidentally uncovered a plot by the boy band's manager and deputy, and was eventually pushed off a rooftop to his death.
Lin Chenxi stayed up all night angrily tearing into the author, then turned around and transmigrated into that same cannon-fodder character, who had just been pushed off the building.
With the same identity, he has to deal with the crooked manager and deputy, while also worrying about the original leads, who are still at odds, and helping them clear up their misunderstanding. But along the way, he slowly falls into a sweet romance with Lin He, the coldest member of the group and the love rival of the original male lead...
It's quite good-looking, the characters are vivid, hahaha, and the plot is quite sweet.
