Su Ke, a college student, died in a car accident while delivering food. Because of his good deeds during his lifetime, he was specially approved by Yama and was reborn as Li Bai, a young man in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. When he opened his eyes, he was at a wine shop in Chang'an. Facing He Zhizhang's request for a poem, he changed "Jianjinjiu" to hide the hidden worries of An'an history. He was so shocked that he said "Hu Chenruo caused chaos in Chang'an" and called him "an immortal".
This is no longer the frustrated poet who left the palace in the history books - he brought modern thinking and forcefully demanded bribes from petty officials, leaving them speechless; the Jinluan Palace refused to write a flattering poem for the imperial concubine, but instead wrote "Battle of the South of the City" to lament the extravagance of the generals, which made Yang Guozhong slap the case; when he met a pirate and kidnapped a girl, he actually used the nimble skills of delivering food to save her, shocking the jaws of passers-by.
He had long known about An Lushan's wolfish ambition and secretly advised Du Fu to pay attention; when he met the alchemist Wu Jun, he suddenly recalled his chemical knowledge and secretly prepared gunpowder to draw a sketch of "Thunder". When the Anshi Rebellion broke out, he helped Guo Ziyi break through the siege with his improved assault rifle, and used mortars to blow up the rebel granary. He changed from a poet to the soul of the "firearms camp". In front of Mawei Po, he did not pull up the jade ring, but he led the troops to regain Chang'an; when the Tubo invaded, he still wrote "Consulting in the Army" at an old age, commanding the artillery battalion to protect the stability of his family and country.
In the end, he lived in seclusion in Caishiji, leaving "Taibai Secrets" to hide the secrets of rebirth and firearms, and let the romance of "catching the moon and dying" spread among the people. Thousands of years later, when I was quarrying in Jitou, someone pointed to his statue and wondered: "Poems always mention 'thunder', could he really know how to make weapons?" The river wind passed by, and it seemed that an old man in white robes smiled and replied: If you leave poems to protect the people, you will live up to your rebirth.
