This story has two protagonists from the start. The transmigrator Deng Ming is the main point-of-view character, driving out the Tartars and reclaiming the land, while the special forces soldier Chen Yunmo is the secondary point-of-view character, risking his life to rescue the Yongli Emperor.

Background: This is a fan-fiction continuation, adapted from the game-film Ming's End: Conquer the Realm.
The game-film's plot and story were left unfinished, and I just couldn't let it go.
So I decided to try writing a fan-fiction continuation for comfort. It's not very good, so please just have a laugh and move on.
The year 1661, the fifteenth year of the Yongli reign of the Southern Ming.
Terrible news arrives: the Yongli Emperor of the Southern Ming has been captured by the King of Burma, who is preparing to hand him over to Wu Sangui!
Deng Ming, the transmigrator, has fought tooth and nail to carve out a territory to resist the Qing. How could he allow this to happen?
He sends his most elite troops, the Leopard Owl Battalion: special forces soldier Chen Yunmo, to rescue the emperor.
“I am a Baturu of the Great Qing. I have fought all my life, and I respect only true warriors!”

“Wouldn't bringing glory to your family be far better than throwing your life away for that ruler of a fallen kingdom?”
Chen Yunmo laughs out loud. “Hahaha... Tartars! Don't spout such nonsense! I, Chen Yunmo, stand tall between heaven and earth. I know only loyalty and righteousness. Surrender is a word I don't understand!”
“You invaded our land and slaughtered our people. This hatred can never be reconciled! If you want me to surrender, it will happen only when the Yangtze flows backward!”

How about including all the beauties, even if they are not around, how about giving them a title? 💕, But you should follow your own pace. The war scenes and character details are well written.
