The protagonist, Lin Mo, unexpectedly obtains a mysterious System from a high-dimensional civilization or the distant future. It exists as a "technology tree" rooted in his consciousness. The tree contains branches of knowledge from every field, from basic physics and materials science to interstellar travel, energy manipulation, biological evolution, and even philosophy and sociology. But most of its branches and leaves remain locked away in darkness.
