The Age of Sail: Help from My Future Self

The tide of history rolls on, and the rise and fall of civilizations are merely the “turning of the tables” for certain [beings]. “The way of Heaven takes from those who have too much and gives to those who have too little. The way of man takes from those who have too little and gives to those who have too much.” Only [the immortal] can hold [the immortal] in check. As the scales of balance tip, greedy living beings pay a terrible price for knowledge. Who can save us? Who can preserve this balance? And how long can it last? Eighteen-year-old Chu Ming, an aspiring college student, is about to begin his own legendary story here. The outline for this story is already complete, and so is its setting. If readers would like to see the background lore, I can share some of it ahead of time. The rest will also be revealed gradually as the protagonist explores. I won't abandon the story, so please don't worry. I hope you'll support this new author. Thank you!
