My Boyfriend Helped His Junior Edit Her Resume, So I Broke Up with Him

During graduation season, I sent out dozens of resumes but got only a handful of replies.

My boyfriend, Xu Zhikai, had an impressive resume and outstanding skills, and job offers kept pouring in.

I was so anxious I ended up hospitalized, while Xu Zhikai was busy using his laptop to polish his junior schoolmate Xia Wanqing's resume.

On graduation day, I broke up with him in front of everyone.

The whole class was baffled and looked at me with disdain.

"You're dumping him just because he helped his junior schoolmate with her resume? You're so petty!"

"It's just a resume. It's not like she's taking your job."

"We've all seen how much he loved you over the past four years. Don't drive away such a great boyfriend over nothing."

I shot back coldly, "He stayed up for 29 nights straight and revised dozens of drafts of her resume."

Everyone accused me of making a fuss over nothing.

As usual, Xu Zhikai pulled me into his arms and gently tried to comfort me.

"I've just been a little busy lately and haven't been able to give you enough attention."

"Besides, everyone has a hard time finding a job. It doesn't mean they all have to get so anxious they end up in the hospital."
