When Goudan was six years old, he hugged his father's tattered cotton-padded jacket and cried at the mine gate. It was his third uncle with a scar on his face who dragged him into the "dirt digging" business - to put it bluntly, it was tomb robbing.
Third Uncle always said that this business relies on courage, but no one told Goudan that no matter how courageous he is, he can't stop the evil things in the Blood Mist Tomb:
The severed hands emerging from the grass on the graves are designed to grab the ankles of living people;
The murals in the corridor were painted with living blood, and the face of the woman whose heart was ripped out in the sacrificial painting was exactly the same as that of his mother who died young;
There was also the faceless corpse covered in blood, and the third uncle's glutinous rice and black donkey hooves were useless, like a red-hot iron, chasing them down the dead end...
Goudan originally thought that this was just a vicious tomb nourished by evil magic. It was not until the female corpse in the ear room clutching half a lotus jade opened her eyes that he discovered:
The third uncle didn't bring him here to rob tombs at all;
His mother's death is inseparable from the sacrificial ceremony in the warlord's tomb;
Even his name "Goudan" hides the secret of turning living people into rice dumplings——
"Do you think you are alive? If I touch the back of your neck again, that scar should be rotten by now."
The moment the bloody corpse's nails scratched his skin, Goudan finally saw clearly that embedded in the bloody hole on the faceless corpse's neck was half a piece of the lotus jade that his mother had left for him that he was wearing close to his body. It fit perfectly.
