A Contract Marriage? The Capital's Big Shot's White Moonlight Walks Right into the Trap

[Both inexperienced + sharp-tongued heir vs. defiant heiress + a secret crush comes true]

Nan Yue is drugged and has no choice but to seek help from Xiao Xinglan, her childhood rival.

After one reckless night together, Nan Yue wakes up and tries to escape, but Xiao Xinglan catches her.

He tells her to take responsibility, and she simply throws money at him.

He suggests a marriage of convenience to help them both solve their family problems, but she rejects him without a second thought.

Less than two days later, Nan Yue eats her words!

When she gets home that day, her father has moved in his mistress and illegitimate son.

"Nan Yue, your brother needs a good environment," her father says, then takes over her general manager's office and shoves her into a tiny cubicle like a storage closet.

Nan Yue turns around and calls her rival, Xiao Xinglan. "Want to get married? The kind where you help me take back control."

He scoffs. "So Miss Nan finally has to ask me for help? Call me husband. Let's hear it."

Nan Yue grits her teeth. "Hus-band!"

After they register their marriage, Nan Yue takes Xiao Xinglan with her to crush her scumbag father, his mistress, and the illegitimate son. "The fun is only just beginning."

But this was supposed to be a marriage of convenience, with each of them getting what they wanted. Why is Young Master Xiao always jealous?

On day who-knows-what of their marriage, Nan Yue can't take Xiao Xinglan's sharp tongue anymore and tosses him divorce papers.

Xiao Xinglan's eyes turn bloodshot. "Try to leave, and I'll break your legs!"

So Nan Yue breaks his legs... and runs away with his child!
