Douluo Dalu: Doraemon's Great Adventure

Beneath the moonlight in Holy Soul Village, Tang Hao cradles a crying Tang San. A strange blue-and-white “thing” waddles up and rubs against his feet: a round body without ears, a twitching red nose, and a pocket big enough to fit an iron pot. This is Doraemon, who has fallen through a crack in time, and from then on becomes Tang San’s personal caretaker.

The villagers keep mistaking him for a raccoon, but the moment Tang San opens his eyes, Doraemon senses something is off. This baby’s eyes hold a calmness that doesn’t belong to an infant. When Tang San secretly practices the Mysterious Heaven Skill with chopsticks, Doraemon hurriedly pulls out an invisibility cloak to cover him. On the day of his Martial Soul Awakening, Doraemon grabs a shrink ray and moves all of Notting Academy’s books on Soul Rings to Tang San’s bedside. By the time Yu Xiaogang asks his questions, the Anywhere Door has already taken Tang San to see the true power of the Clear Sky Hammer.

“Don’t use the gadgets carelessly!” Doraemon keeps reminding him, but when Tang San gets bullied, he frantically pulls out an Air Cannon and blasts the little punks into a pile of grass. Watching Tang San soar over the Star Dou Great Forest on a bamboo-copter, memorize every Soul Master secret with memory bread, and dodge deadly ambushes with a passing-through hoop, Doraemon feels both nervous and proud.

The regrets of his previous life have become a thing of the past. Tang San condenses a Ten Thousand Year Soul Ring at just six years old, turns Shrek Academy’s entrance exam into a one-sided beatdown, and easily escapes Spirit Hall’s pursuit with a time cloth. As Blue Silver Grass winds around the sky and Doraemon’s bell jingles, he suddenly understands: these gadgets were never cheating. They simply let this child, reborn with his memories intact, finally smile as he makes his way to the summit.

The road to godhood lies open before him, and Doraemon will always be the blue cat trailing behind, worried yet relieved.
