Shen Yuwei was once devoted to the gentle and refined Xie Mingxuan, entrusting him with all the secrets of her young heart. But when he turned around and asked to marry her younger sister, Shen Yuyao, she was left with nothing but disappointment and coldness. Meanwhile, General Wei Qinglan of the Northern Garrison had buried his love for Shen Yuwei deep in his heart since they were young. From risking his life to protect her on the lantern-lit night, to quietly treasuring the flowers and plants she had given him without a thought, from bringing her a red plum hairpin after fighting on the northern frontier, to standing guard in the snow and wind, his deep affection was hidden in every detail everyone overlooked.
Later, Wei Qinglan disappears, and Shen Mingxuan takes control of everything. After forcing himself on Yuwei, what will happen next?
