The heroine Shen Yan (who was a doctor of botany before time traveling) accidentally fell off a cliff and traveled to a different world called "Wasteland" - there is no magic here, only broken continents eroded by "sandstorms", scattered "relics of the old world" (similar to the remains of earth civilization), and humans struggling to survive in tribes and city-states. The status of women in the wasteland is extremely low and they are regarded as "reproductive tools". However, Shen Yan relied on her botanical knowledge to plant the first oasis in the wasteland, and gradually gathered a group of marginalized women to jointly fight against sandstorms, old customs and power oppression.
The story has no romance line and focuses on Shen Yan's journey of "civilization reconstruction" and her bond with different female characters: a huntress who was abandoned by the tribe, a blind girl who knew the old world's writing, and a noble daughter who resisted the city-state marriage... They took root in the desolation and lived as each other's light, explaining that "unique beauty" is not a lonely bravery, but the power of the female alliance.
