The story is based on the true story of the Bayan guerrillas, the first anti-Japanese armed force led by our party.
On September 18, 1931, the Northeastern Army retreated into the pass without firing a single bomb, handing over the great mountains and rivers to the Japanese invaders. The Communist Party of China, represented by Zhang Jiazhou and Zhao Shangzhi, took action when the nation was in danger, launched an armed uprising, fired the first shot of our party's armed resistance against Japan, and became the leader and righteous fighting team in the fight against Japan on the black soil.
This book mainly focuses on Zhang Jiazhou's return to his hometown to form an anti-Japanese guerrilla force, and through important historical events such as underground struggles, the destruction of the Japanese secret service, and the killing of Yan Wan, the commander of the Japanese army in Suihua, it shows the arduous historical facts of our party's early anti-Japanese war. Taking the love and hatred between the sharpshooter Liu Fei, a representative figure of the uprising officers and soldiers, and three women, Wan Xiuzhu, Zhan Shanhong, and Zhao Ronghua, as a secondary line, it fully expresses the emotional journey of a patriotic young man, from the platoon leader of the Northeast Army, to the captain of the anti-Japanese guerrillas, to the pseudo-police section chief, and the captain of the Anti-Japanese Alliance Brigade, a very legendary fighting life.
It's well written and very true. [Praise]
