I just finished watching the movie Nanjing Photo Studio and saw this book recommended on the homepage, so I came in to read it.
When I first read the first article, I felt anxious for the protagonist. I didn't understand how some seemingly simple things I encountered turned into such big problems when I knew the history (and there were some descriptors that may be my personal writing habits that seemed too many, so I almost gave up at that time [face covering])
The author's writing style is very good and makes people feel emotionally involved. I cried with him many times. I also felt nervous for the protagonist when he was caught and tortured, hoping that he would be rescued or escape with a sudden burst of energy (the protagonist was so miserable! Did he go back to that era to experience the damage again!). Currently, I can see that the protagonist is growing up and becoming stronger, and I hope that I can make up for the regret later.
Come on, author, I hope your work will be seen by more people.
