[Gender Transformation, Traditional Wuxia, a World Inspired by Jin Yong]
A drifting leaf in a strange land, a golden thread wrapped around a blade. An Yixuan transmigrates into a wuxia world, only to become a fourteen-year-old blonde girl of mixed Hu and Han ancestry. After her family's merchant caravan is attacked, the Mount Tai Sect saves her from the brink of death, and she steps into the tumultuous jianghu.
Four years of hard cultivation bring her extraordinary talent. Beneath her stunning beauty, however, lies a heart that doesn't belong. During an escort mission, she meets Ling Huchen, a brilliant young talent of the Mount Hua Sect, and they become kindred spirits, but she is also drawn into a far greater maelstrom.
Framed, hunted, captured by the Demon Cult... cast into a living hell. She unites myriad arts and calculates the secrets of heaven and earth! When she emerges from her cocoon, she has become an anomaly neither the righteous nor the unorthodox can afford to ignore.
The Demon Cult's armies stir, undercurrents roil among the Five Sacred Sword Sects, and a forbidden divine sword unleashes bloodshed across the jianghu. How will she find her own martial path and way home amid her debt to Mount Tai, her ties to the Demon Cult, the hopes of old friends, and her inner turmoil?
When her golden hair shines across the jianghu once more, will it bring a storm of bloodshed or carve a thorny path no one has ever walked before? In this game of chess with the whole world as its board, the hand moving the pieces has quietly changed.
It's a bit contradictory, these conflicts are too deliberate. Although I left Swordsman early to lay the groundwork, it still feels weird. I left some things unsaid, buried this small hidden danger, and finally exploded deliberately. This feels less reasonable or smoother than arranging a blood feud for the protagonist.
It's beautiful, but no one sees it 😢
