Read this introduction before starting the story
Two main couples: one male-female and one male-male
A fantasy novel for readers who like a bit of everything. The category isn’t quite right, and it’s hard to define just how eclectic this story is.
There’s too much going on, so this introduction mainly lists potential dealbreakers.
Besides being okay with both male-female and male-male couples, please check for yourself whether you’re comfortable with the following:
Werewolves and humans;
An age gap of several hundred years or so;
Coming-of-age themes;
The author isn’t very good at writing angst (but is trying);
A woman pursuing a man;
A not-so-smart heroine;
The protagonist develops psychological issues at a certain age (this part may make some readers feel that “your suffering is nothing compared to xx”);
Be careful not to ship the wrong couple;
Any of the main characters can be shipped with anyone, regardless of which couple they belong to (but the author only writes the pairings they like);
Unimportant surnames are never mentioned (and names are kept short for easier memorization);
…
Please do not conflate the story’s characters with real people.
