Transmigrating into Dream of the Red Chamber, Doting Only on Baochai

Beneath the peach tree in a spring garden, Xue Heng strokes the pair of jade pendants the two of them have treasured all their lives. He pins a freshly blossomed peach flower in Baochai's hair, takes her hand, and says, “Of all the countless things in this mortal world, you alone are my love. I have cherished you for half a lifetime, and still it feels like too little. In our next life, I will find you early and fulfill our pledge of gold and jade once more.” Baochai smiles and leans against him, starlight in her eyes. “In every life, you alone will be mine.”
