Atop the vast, rugged mountains, sixteen-year-old Lei Kun is merely an abandoned son of a collateral branch of the Lei family, a “good-for-nothing” at the peak of the first Qi Refining layer. He scrapes by collecting herbs for spirit stones, until the appearance of an ancient divine artifact turns his fate upside down.
The Myriad Spirits Origin Pearl recognizes him as its master. This divine treasure, which can commune with heaven and earth and command all spirits, gives him the means to rewrite his destiny. But it also draws the greed of the Qingyun Sect and the ruthlessness of the Li family, while undercurrents in the cultivation world surge around the pearl.
From a lowly nobody bullied by all to an extraordinary being who commands the power of myriad spirits, Lei Kun wields the pearl as a blade, slicing through the shackles of his mediocre aptitude. He fights alongside demonic beasts, resonates with spirit veins, navigates sect rivalries, and struggles to break through the realms.
What secrets of creation lie hidden within the ancient Origin Pearl? Can Lei Kun cast off the mark of being the Lei family's abandoned son and carve a path through the trials of cultivation with nothing but an ordinary body? When myriad spirits bow before him and heaven and earth change color, this rise to power, which began on the vast, rugged mountains, will become an Eastern fantasy legend of his own.
Watch as the youth takes up the Origin Pearl and shatters prejudice, rising from the dust until the entire cultivation world trembles at his ascent!
"Lei Kun: The Origin Pearl of All Spirits" is a refreshing masterpiece full of oriental fantasy. With the "Original Pearl of All Spirits" as the core setting, it builds a grand world where spiritual beasts, martial arts, and sects are intertwined. Although the protagonist Lei Kun's counterattack from "trash" to "prodigy" is routine, the rhythm is fast and the battle descriptions are passionate, especially the creativity of the source bead devouring evolution, which adds new ideas to the traditional upgrade flow. The supporting characters have top-notch IQs, the villains don't have facial makeup, and the heroine's emotional line is natural. The disadvantage is that the combat power expands slightly faster in the later period, but the flaws are not outweighed. It is suitable for readers who like passionate growth and animal pet cultivation to read it in one sitting.
