All I can say is it's okay. But those plots behind you are really messy. It's really messy to put characters from movies and games into it. There is also a protagonist. To be honest, it was too much of a gamble to start with. Since you know it will happen, why not run ahead of time? Or prepare things in advance. Some of the things I know give people reasons that are too far-fetched.
