Transmigration + resistance against Japan + a mini System + changing regrets.
Lu Mingchuan's grandfather was a soldier in the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army and often told him stories about the resistance. After his grandfather passed away, Lu Mingchuan was sorting through his belongings when he transmigrated to the Northeast in 1938 and awakened a shop exchange System.
So Lu Mingchuan takes up arms and sweeps through the Kwantung Army alongside his grandfather.
Here, he encounters General Yang and General Jin.
A loving father: “Investigate this. We have to find out where that young fellow down south got so many of our weapons. This must be dealt with seriously!”
Hideki Tojo: “Is the Tokko full of useless fools? Smuggling guns is bad enough, but how are they smuggling planes too?!”
A bunch of traitors: “Heroes of the Anti-Japanese United Army, we really don’t want to be traitors! We surrender!”
This time, we’ll use weapons to smash the Japanese army to pieces! We’ll overcome our fear of inadequate firepower!
Life in the Anti-Japanese United Army was terribly hard. Before the July 7 Incident, the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army had already held out for six years. With the Northeast completely occupied, no outside support, and no coordinated operations with a main battlefield, they endured temperatures dozens of degrees below zero and snowbound conditions. They kept fighting for a full fourteen years, until victory in the War of Resistance in 1945.
This story focuses on building up strength.
