The Ninefold Nether Realm is divided into nine heavenly domains, where one's status is determined by one's spiritual meridians. Chen Wujiu was born with useless meridians and was bullied for it.
After the Chen family was massacred, his spiritual meridians were ripped out and he was thrown into an icy pool, left on the brink of death.
As he lay dying, Chen Wujiu unexpectedly obtained a mysterious Spirit-Devouring System.
The System could devour other people's spiritual power, help him break through, and feed the power back to him.
With the System, he could play the pig to eat the tiger, endure and lie low, and leave ordinary people far behind.
Those who had once bullied him met defeat one after another. He and the female war god were drawn to each other, advancing side by side.
In the end, he would enter the True Realm, bring the ancient game to a close, and reshape the laws of the world.
