Shh! My Genius Scholar Boyfriend Is from the Past

Li S San, a junior at Huabo University, keeps failing advanced mathematics, so she sneaks off to pray to the school’s sage statue. Maybe her math skills are just too poor, or maybe the Sage Teacher doesn’t want to take on her case. Either way, while other people pass their high school exams after praying, she isn’t even granted the chance to pray. At least on her fifth attempt, she finally manages to pray to the Sage Teacher. In response, heaven sends down a torrential rainstorm. After failing the first four times and getting caught in a sudden downpour on her fifth visit, Li S S can’t help complaining. She says that if the Sage can’t turn a blind eye for her, then possessing her with a genius scholar would be fine. She just doesn’t want her transcript to look so awful when she graduates. Whether she moved the Sage’s compassionate heart or heaven finally took pity on her, after the rainstorm Li S S discovers that someone has possessed her. That’s right, possessed. That’s exactly how it happens in novels. During the day, a top scholar and prime minister from the Great Qian Dynasty occupies her body and attends her classes for her. At night, Li S S can take back her body. All she has to do is play and have fun. They’re like opposite shifts: one studies during the day, while the other lives it up at night. The scholar prime minister thinks Li S S will waste her life if she carries on like this, so he gives her notes every day. But Li S S isn’t keen on studying, and she just can’t get the hang of science subjects, so she rejects his kind offer. Then one day, the scholar prime minister discovers that the two of them can talk face-to-face when they look in the mirror. Li S S feels like her nightlife has been ruined. She can put up with not seeing her friends during the day, but after finally getting to relax and have fun at night, she now has to study under someone’s watchful eye, and in front of a mirror, no less. They keep studying, and somehow the top scholar steps right out of the mirror. And he’s ridiculously handsome!
