I’m Tang Sanzang, but with One-Punch Man’s Powers

When Jiang Liu woke up, he found that he had become a young monk. His Buddhist name was Xuanzang, and his childhood name was Jiang Liuer. In other words, he was Tang Sanzang from Journey to the West.

But none of that mattered. What mattered was that it was now the thirteenth year of the Zhenguan era, and he was less than half a year away from setting out on his journey west. Yet the news that eating Tang Sanzang's flesh could grant immortality had already leaked ahead of time.

Countless demons were itching to make a move. Fortunately, he had activated the One-Punch Man template. He could grow stronger by training his body and slaying demons.

Black Bear Demon: “How would I dare steal his kasaya? I only glanced at him from far away, and he nearly beat me to death.”

The Three Demons of Lion Camel Ridge: “I suspect Tang Sanzang himself started the rumor that eating his flesh grants immortality.”

The Tathagata: “Brother Tang, how about I bring the scriptures to you instead?”

Tang Sanzang: “Demon, I can tell at a glance that you're no human! Great Might, Heavenly Dragon!”
