Journey to the West: Make Sure You Find the True Scriptures

Amid the eerie fog where monstrous forces run rampant, I enter a collapsing Journey to the West as Sha Wujing. A skull necklace around my neck breathes out blood-chilling rules, while the mysterious burden on my shoulder seems to conceal the keys to life and death. My mutated “Tang Monk and his disciples” each harbor their own sinister motives: “Zhu Bajie,” with his blue face and fangs, hides a blade behind his smile; “Sun Wukong,” whose three tails writhe, is terrifyingly uncanny; even under “Tang Monk’s” monk’s robe, unknown shadows crawl.

The journey west has become a road to certain death. There are no demons, yet monstrous forms appear, and the iron law that “only one Buddha remains at Spirit Mountain” tightens around my throat like a noose. Clutching the original warning, I struggle to survive among the twisted figure of a fake Wukong, the greedy probing of a fake Bajie, and the inscrutable schemes of a fake Tang Monk. Every step lands on something as uncanny as a rotting corpse, and every breath echoes through the cracks in the rules. Yet the truth of the scriptures, hidden in my burden and behind the name “Buddha,” beckons like an evil spirit drawing in its prey, forcing me to stake my life and seek answers in this man-eating Journey to the West: Who is the true Buddha? Who can live long enough to become the final wisp of determination to reach Spirit Mountain?
