Great Qin: My Younger Brother Is the Ancestral Dragon

“Starting today, I’ll protect my little brother with my life!”

Jing Heng transmigrates to the Warring States period and nearly starves to death on the street from the start. By chance, he is adopted by Ying Yiren’s family and becomes the sworn elder brother of the young Ying Zheng! Looking at the adorable little boy calling him “big brother,” Jing Heng is stunned. Is this actually the future Qin Shi Huang?!

He thought that getting in good with a powerful family would let him coast to victory. But Handan is rife with danger: the Qin army is attacking the city, the people of Zhao hate them, and Ying Zheng’s family could be killed at any moment! Jing Heng grits his teeth and swears, “Don’t be afraid, Zheng. As long as your big brother is here, nobody will lay a finger on you!”

And so...

When the people of Zhao bully Ying Zheng, he grabs a wooden club and charges in. “You want to mess with my little brother? You’ll have to get past me first!”

When the Qin army breaches the city, he carries little Ying Zheng through the encirclement. “Hold on tight, buddy. We’re going home!”

When Lü Buwei schemes to seize power, Jing Heng sneers. “You want to use my little brother? You’ll have to get through me first!”

Years later, Ying Zheng conquers the six states and ascends the throne, but in front of all his officials, he throws his arms around Jing Heng. “I owe this empire to my big brother, who protected me all my life!”

Jing Heng: “...Come on, don’t be like that. I just want an easy job and a quiet retirement.”
