I'm Definitely Not a Magical Princess

[Nontraditional Western fantasy] [Western magic academy] [Strong female lead] [No romance, so fellow shippers, go ahead and ship]

Synopsis:

When Yan Xi received her admission letter from St. Thorn Academy, she read it over and over, hardly daring to believe it.

She only remembered her teacher smiling before leaving and saying, “I’ve found you a good place to go.” She hadn’t expected that this “good place” would be so far away, on the Western Continent.

The accompanying teacher sent by the academy was already waiting. She packed her things and, still half in doubt, opened the door.

Who could have imagined that a strange pumpkin carriage would appear out of thin air before her? It was strange because it wasn’t drawn by fine horses, but by two silver deer with snowy white wings.

The accompanying teacher explained that this was the academy’s “short-distance transport.” They also said that every new student would receive a magic egg, and if they patiently incubated it, they would get a magical sprite of their own.

Yan Xi blinked, assuming the teacher was joking.

Magic eggs? Sprites? How could things she’d only ever seen in fairy-tale books possibly be real?!

P.S. This is a thorn-strewn path of magic
