My Newest Underling Is Called Xie Laoqi

[Modern urban high-martial world + gangs + fantasy + decisive and ruthless + one heroine]

My name is Sun Hu. In the SGV area of LA, North America, I ran with Uncle Rong, a big shot in the Heavenly Path Gang. He treated me well, entrusting me with a Chinese restaurant that was doing good business.

One night, after closing, I was drinking and bragging with five of my guys when a white-robed scholar named Xie suddenly showed up. He looked miserable and said he hadn’t eaten in three days, begging me to give him a meal.

I may be hot-tempered and fond of a fight, but I’m kind at heart. Seeing how pitiful he was, I took pity on him and made him one of my men. By the rules of the underworld, he should have ranked seventh under me.

From that day on, my life took a turn…

Yes, you guessed it. This Seventh Brother Xie’s real name was Xie Bi’an, and his nickname was… “A Glimpse of Wealth,” the White Impermanence!

This underworld deity was neglecting his duties. He came to LA not to capture ghosts, but to egg me on to fight the Western gods, nearly getting me killed in the process.
