(No System) (Multiple heroines) (No major character deaths) (Mostly comedic, best read with your brain switched off)
In Japan, where demons have run rampant for nearly a thousand years, the father of Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the 96th head of the Demon Slayer Corps, glimpsed a ray of hope in the depths of despair. A merchant from China’s Western Regions brought him a vague legend: deep in a secret snowy mountain retreat in Tibet lived warriors known as the Ripple Clan. They wielded energy as powerful as the blazing sun and had devoted generation after generation to exterminating man-eating demons.
Overjoyed, the head of the Corps clung to this as his last hope. He penned a heartfelt plea for aid and entrusted it to the merchant, asking him to deliver it to that mysterious holy land. But year after year passed with no response. At last, brokenhearted and despairing, the head of the Corps took his own life, leaving the crushing burden and endless regrets on the shoulders of four-year-old Kagaya Ubuyashiki.
He had no idea that the Ripple Clan had not ignored his plea. Their home was simply so impossibly well hidden that the letter bearing his final hope wandered from hand to hand for years before finally arriving.
Now, to put an end to a thousand-year-old longing, Sakuya, a once-in-a-century genius of the Ripple Clan, takes on the mission of crossing the sea to slay the Demon King Muzan Kibutsuji. He boards a ship bound for Japan.
The weakening of ripples is too obvious, and it is still a daily text 🍉.
Very pretty.
