Two childhood friends who were both pushed around in modern society transmigrate to the fictional Great Wei dynasty. One becomes an ambitious emperor bent on reform, while the other becomes a general who owes his position to connections. Determined to cast off the burdens of their former lives as overworked nobodies, they let loose at the very peak of power, turning the imperial court and military camps into their own workplace playground. They use KPI reviews to keep the imperial chefs in line, military drills to torment the soldiers, and team-building activities to foil conspiracies. As they help and undermine each other along the way, they unexpectedly breathe life into a stagnant empire and usher in an unprecedented era of absurd prosperity.
Easy to watch, I like it It's good, funny, not tiring, and the evil doesn't overwhelm the good.
